End Doomscrolling started with a simple question: if apps are built using behavior science to keep us hooked, why not use the same science to help us live the way we want?
Most advice about phone use comes down to "just put it down." If that worked, nobody would need help. Scrolling is a habit like any other, and habits respond to the right approach, not to guilt.
We focus on parents and parents-to-be because those early years go fast, and nobody wants to remember them through a screen. But the same ideas work for anyone who feels like their phone is running the show.
We're also running a research study with adults on reducing phone use, so what we teach keeps getting better.
